Description Marek Szatkowski 2014-04-17 22:32:06 UTC
There is mismatch grey-gray between antialias argument of png and grDevices:::aa.cairo vector.

Which causes:

  png("a.png", type="cairo", antialias="grey")
  Error in png("a.png", type = "cairo", antialias = "grey") :
    invalid 'antialias' argument

and

  png("a.png", type="cairo", antialias="gray")
  Error in match.arg(antialias) :
    'arg' should be one of “default”, “none”, “cleartype”, “grey”, “subpixel”
  Calls: png -> match -> match.arg

This seems to be on Windows: on a Unix-alike

>   png("a.png", type="cairo", antialias="grey")
Error in match.arg(antialias, aa.cairo) :
  'arg' should be one of “default”, “none”, “gray”, “subpixel”
>   png("a.png", type="cairo", antialias="gray")

Fixed for Windows.
