Description Hermann Schier 2014-02-11 14:38:09 UTC
reversing the data axis in stripchart does not work work
using xlim = c(Hi, Lo).

example:
x <- stats::rnorm(50)
stripchart(x)
# setting limits works
stripchart(x, xlim = c(-2, 2))
# reversing data axis does not work
stripchart(x, xlim = c(2,-2))

The documentation of stripchart links to plot.window where you find
> To reverse an axis, use xlim or ylim of the form c(hi, lo).

stripchart should behave as standard plot()

Hermann
