The following example should cause the error on windows with R-2.15.1, and R-2.15.1 patched.

n <- 10
y <- rnorm(n)
x <- rnorm(n)
w <- rep(0, n)

lm.wfit(cbind(1, x), y, w)

Process R exited abnormally with code 148 at Wed Sep 05 12:23:58 2012
