Description Feng Li 2012-02-08 17:20:11 UTC
Dear all,

Start "R --vanilla" and run

> list2env(list(a=1,b=2),envir=baseenv)

will cause segmentation fault with the following information

*** caught segfault ***
address 0x1ba, cause 'memory not mapped'

Traceback:
 1: list2env(list(a = 1, b = 2), envir = baseenv)

Note that baseenv is a function rather than an environment. This happened when my intention was to type "list2env(list(a=1,b=2),envir = baseenv())" but forgot the brackets.
