Description David Harte 2012-01-02 01:45:08 UTC
The bug reported in the link below for R2.13.0 has reappeared in R2.14.1
This occurs in BOTH Linux Debian (Squeeze) and MS Windows XP.

Further, a possibly related issue (though the error message is different) is repeated as follows (again, both in Debian and XP):

At the R prompt enter help.start(), so that the html help is displayed in the web browser (I'm using Firefox/Iceweasel)

Then select: Search Engine & Keywords

Now select ANY keyword, and I get the error message:

Error : $ operator is invalid for atomic vectors

As above, the same error message is given in both Debian and MS XP (both 32 bit).

Not sure how these slipped in and didn't get noticed, but they're both fixed now.
